Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data MyFightPrep collects, why, and your rights over it. MyFightPrep is a personal tool for tracking training, nutrition and weight during a fight camp.
Who we are
MyFightPrep (“we”, “us”) operates the website at myfightprep.com and myfightprep.dk. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@myfightprep.com.
What we store
- Your account (if you create one): name, username, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Your fitness data: weight entries, meals, training sessions, water intake and related goals that you enter yourself.
- Meal photos: images you choose to scan are sent for automated nutrition analysis and are not stored after the analysis is returned.
We do not collect payment details, we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data. We do not process CPR numbers.
Health-related data
Your weight, nutrition and training data relate to your physical condition and are treated as a special category of data (health data) under the GDPR. We only process it with yourexplicit consent, which you give when you create your account, and solely to run the app for you. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data or account in the app.
Who processes your data (sub-processors)
- Supabase — database and login, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
- OpenAI — automated analysis of meal photos you choose to scan (see below).
- Our server host — runs the website on a server located in Denmark.
International transfers
OpenAI processes meal-photo analysis on servers in the USA. Such transfers are covered by the appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (standard contractual clauses / the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). If you never scan a meal photo, no data is sent to OpenAI.
Where your data lives
Depending on how the app is configured, your data is stored either only in your own browser (local storage on your device) or in our secured database so it can sync across your devices. In both cases only you can see your own fitness data.
Automated meal analysis (AI)
When you scan a meal photo, the image is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to estimate calories and macros, and the result is returned to you. We do not use your photos to train models, and the image is not retained by MyFightPrep after analysis.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process your account data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract, art. 6(1)(b)) and your health-related fitness data on the basis of your explicit consent(art. 9(2)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data or your account.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use MyFightPrep (the age for consent to online services in Denmark, cf. the Danish Data Protection Act § 6(2)).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, directly in the app or by contacting us:
- Access & portability — download all your data from Profile → “Download my data”.
- Erasure — delete your account and all data from Profile → “Delete my account”.
- Rectification — correct the data you have entered at any time.
- Object to or restrict processing.

Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed. Data stored only in your browser is removed when you clear your browser storage.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
