Simon Jounan is a kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter and the founder of MyFightPrep. The app grew out of his own fight camps, where weight, nutrition, fluids and training were scattered across calendar apps, notes and spreadsheets — and making weight became something you reacted to at the last minute.
The guides on MyFightPrep are based on recognised sports-medicine guidelines and peer-reviewed research on weight loss in weight-category sports. Every guide lists its sources, and the content is updated when new position stands are published.
